Living Out Our Mission

One core tenet of the Engenius mission is to “Make Our Community Better for All”. While the work we do every day for small businesses works toward this, we also believe that advancing the missions of nonprofit organizations that may not otherwise have the resources to do so is important for our community.

In addition to a commitment to individual and group volunteering, we are excited to announce the Engenius Gives program, in which we partner with a local nonprofit to create a basic website to showcase their mission and needs as an organization.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does your organization meet all of the requirements listed? If so, apply today!

What is the application timeline?

  • July 31: Applications close
  • Early September: Engenius will update all applicants as to their status

When will the website be complete?

The project will begin this fall. Typical Engenius website projects take between ten and sixteen weeks to complete, dependent heavily upon the speed of client feedback and client response time.

Are there any costs associated?

  • The cost of a basic Engenius Website is fully included in the Engenius Gives program without any cost to the recipient organization. Other website add-ons required by the organization may have associated additional costs, depending on the requirements and requests of the recipient organization.
  • Once a website is launched it must be maintained. Because of this, we require that any Engenius Gives recipient invests in twelve months of our Engenius Service Plan, which ensures that your hosted website is kept up to date with the latest security updates and more. The annual base cost for this is $2,004.

What would be expected of me during the website project?

Our team gets to know the organizations we work with, allowing us to craft a strategically focused website. This allows us to get information about the organization during informational meetings and for the organization to provide supporting documentation, per the request of the Project Manager and Content Strategist.

Typically this will look like the following:

  • Kickoff Meeting (1 hr – month 1)
  • Review Creative Brief (.5 hr – month 1)
  • Gather Content (2.5 hrs – month 1)
  • Review Website Design & Copy and Provide Feedback (1 hr – month 2-3)
  • Launch Approval & Training (1 hr – month 3)

Do we need to have somebody to maintain the website after it launches?

Yes, it is important for an online presence to be maintained and not have details go out of date. Our team will train somebody from the organization at the time of launch, so they know how to do basic changes to the website. In addition to the training workbook and recording they will receive, they will also gain access to the Engenius support team while on the Engenius Service Plan.

What happens after the website is launched?

  • Once a website is launched it must be maintained. Because of this, we require that any Engenius Gives recipient invests in twelve months of our Engenius Service Plan, which ensures that your hosted website is kept up to date with the latest security updates and more. The annual base cost for this is $2,004.
  • Hourly support is available to the organization for needs throughout the year and may also be purchased on an annual basis at a discounted rate.

Do you have other digital marketing services we could use?

Yes, although there is no requirement for organizations to commit to additional services. In addition to our Engenius Service Plan for supporting our clients’ website, Engenius serves clients with digital advertising, search engine optimization, content marketing, and more. Check out our Services for more information. Our Client Success Team would be happy to talk with you about ongoing opportunities.
